Squirting cucumber is extremely effective in persons with kidney disease and weak heart problems. Fresh cucumber juice can treat rashes, infections, painful joints, rheumatism, and sinuses. In case of bleeding hemorrhoids, a fresh leaf can be applied as a compress. It is well known as a strong purgative, especially in narcotic poisoning. The juice can cause an allergic reaction in hypersensitive persons. The leaves are used as a diuretic to expel fluid, in edema and fluid accumulation in the body, and for kidney and heart problems. It is sometimes used to cause diarrhea in the event of poisoning.
