Tetterwort or greater celandine
Greater celandine – Chelidonium majus
Greater celandine is widely used for cough, asthma, digestive system pain, spasmodic pain in the cardiac area, and against chronic jaundice. Greater celandine decoction is used for steaming to help with uterine cramps and stone cramps in the urinary or gall bladder and kidneys. The syrup treats the liver and pancreatic disease, against jaundice, spleen disease, melancholy, and chronic skin rash. It can be mixed with glycerin and then applied to the malignant wound; such compresses also help with rheumatism and gout. It grows along roads and on promenades, as a weed, and along the walls and on rocks.
